Re: Affirmative: Blondie vs Negative: Metacrock
I'm going to show point for point why QT is wrong in his assessment. he totally sherked the thing he was asked to do which was to monitor insults. He totally let down on that becuase it's obvious that Blondie began the insulting first. QT defines the topic: 1. Blondie argued that weak atheism (i.e. ...

Re: Kaufmann: Faith of a Heretic
I find Kaufmann is a real asshole when it comes to his stupid attacks on theology. He's just an amateur and he's not even willing to study theology on its own terms. the things he's saying are no better than the average message board atheist. 103 of the book he starts by defining theology from Webs...

Re: Affirmative: Blondie vs Negative: Metacrock
The debate is called. The judgement is meaningless becasue the judge was never ask to say who won. Blondie clearly violated the no insult agreement.

Re: hybridizing ethics and possible conclusions.
I have never actually studied a formal category called "hybrids" in ethics. I do know that Kant must be one. There are aspects of Kant's work that are clearly teleological and yet he plants his moral decision making paradigm firmly within the realm of duty and obligation. I think one version of the ...

reasons for ban of so called "bigthinker"
After serveral warning repeated continued to say "no one takes you serious." this is a personal attack. He didn't participate in discussion but insisted upon ridiculing all counter arguments including printed evdience that disproved his position. So he was not participating in a manner that contribu...

Re: my approach
I think this direction is really interesting. Meta. In line with some current popular trends - the yoga craze, the neo-monasticism movement in xianity, the popularity of a writer like Ekhart Tolle - recent Western efforts to recover some perception that being has depth. .. . can't wait for u to put...

Re: Is God/Jesus giving God/Jesus to God/Jesus, giving a sacrif
Well gosh, we are doing the best we can. you do want modern science don't you? can't have it all. you try interjecting myths of the eternal return while nurturing notions of progress in history and see how easy it is to balance between the two. We've only been at this religious imagery thing for a ...

in a post that has been deleted GIA used obscene language and dared the admin to ban him. He apparently wants to be banned and so he is. He will not be back under any circumstances.
