God and love are two quite distinct concepts, so what does it mean to say one is the other. ...

J Krishnamurti- That Thing Which You Fight You become "Surely that thing which you fight you become.... If I am angry and you meet me with anger what is the result? More anger. You have become that which I am. If I am evil and you fight me with evil means then you also become evil, however righteou...

Re: Morality comes from ourselves

I meant he talks a lot about this particularly that you cannot cultivate things like virtue, humility and love. so to look at that because on naturalism morality then entail some kind of gradualism I considered. Re: Morality comes from ourselves

One of the Evolutionary psychological effects for many must be some kind of passive mediocrity in regards to moral problems? I mean we can't look too any kind of gradualism for morality? Krishnamurti is about this in many ways especially the idea of gradual or incremental improvement in respect to ...

Re: morality comes from God

Its not so hard

Is love limited or not? Thought is limited, love is something other. it is not personal but nothing less. The field of thought has absolutely nothing on it. The majesty of it says "Before Abraham was, I am."

Re: Natural vs. SN

Hey Sgttomas, I kind of took your post in a 'Cataphatic' kind of presentation which is fine to me. interesting stuff. Glad you got something out of that Krishnamurti dialogue. "about how to define the self in relation to the other" is fascinating but what I noticed was there but not in one of the po...
