Re: is it wrong to compare Trump to a Nazi?
About every week or so, I listen to a sports podcast of a guy named J-Dub (it's called Dubsism). Today, in his latest installment (Volume 39), one of the things he talks about is why he thinks that Trump will get elected (he is not a supporter, though. And, his reasoning has to do with Jesse Ventura...

Re: Wild and Wooly time on Blogger
I read an article about a week ago where Chomsky says the Tea Party/Pro-Trump hate and fear frenzy of the last few years is due to the dying of the white culture. I would say it's more the dying of one strand of white culture: xenophobic, racist, uneducated, incurious, etc... I sure the heck hope so.

Re: Wild and Wooly time on Blogger
that Stan guy is another right wing lunatic. that's why I quite following it. This political year is really causing me to want to quite apologetics. it seems pointless to lead someone to the Lord then they are just going to be republicans and become. That's another thing we can thank Reagan(along w...

Wild and Wooly time on Blogger
In the past week, there has been an argument going on between Stan of the Atheism-Analyzed blog, and someone called Im Skeptical from a blog called The Skeptic Zone: http://christiancadre.blogspot.com/2016/02/darwinism-naturalism-and-falsification.html http://theskepticzone.blogspot.com/2016/02/mili...

Re: Matthew Vines' God and the Gay Christian
Back to the topic of marriage. Neither the sanctity of marriage nor any family values at all seem to me to be present in the NT, unless you want to count when Paul says,"well, it's better for you to marry than it is to burn...." so, for him, it seemed the married state was at best second-rate and p...

Re: Favorite TV Shows that were prematurely cancelled
"My So-Called Life" was good and canceled after one season. Also a show called "Way Out" kinda like the Twilight Zone canceled after a half season, I think. You are right, Jim, about MSCL. Originally, that series was supposed to start in the Fall of 1993, but got delayed because the networks didn't...

Re: Favorite TV Shows that were prematurely cancelled
I remember that. I kind of liked that show. I remember that coming out the same year as the show Webster (with Emmanuel Lewis) on ABC. I watched that show that year, but not The Rousters for some reason. It's too bad that Webster lasted longer than The Rousters, because that show seemed more entert...

Re: Favorite TV Shows that were prematurely cancelled
In 1983, NBC had a show out called The Rousters that aired on Saturday Nights. It was supposed to "sink the Love Boat", but was cancelled after six episodes (the other six aired in the summer of 1984). It starred Chad Everett (of Medical Center fame), Mimi Rogers, and Jim Varney of Ernest P. Worrel...
