I probably came across as merely cranky when I posted this , but this: And why should any human want to embrace this, when they are the ladder that will be kicked away? How could reasons be offered, when rationality finds itself on the chopping block with everything else. How do you argue for madnes...

All y'all ought to read it. He's saying things you'll disagree with, but from a slightly different perspective. He's a bit Nietzschean in that he takes an attitude of "oh dear, this isn't good at all" towards his ideas and futurism. For example, he fears we're headed towards a "semantic apocalypse"...

All y'all ought to read it. He's saying things you'll disagree with, but from a slightly different perspective. I'm far from a Kant scholar, myself, but as I learn more about this issue, it seems to me Kan'ts genius might lie in his willingness to admit the scope of which it's true that, intrinsically, because of the very nature of our way of being, of our particular relation with (what's now often called) '...

Hmmm....deconstructing some of the binaries here, st ;) & applying a bit of suspicious hermeneutic... I'd wonder if you'd think asking for "a dialog between East and West" is a bit too general?"
