Fair enough.

I hope you change your mind some day.

The likeness of Jesus is that of Adam. God said "be" and he was.

I was a good Lutheran for a time, so I'll chime in with the phrase we repeated time and again in our study of Luther's catechism.

"What does this mean?"

Also, my argument is that the Trinity belief augments the God-notion with accidental properties. This is impossible for God. God is Necessary Being. There is real structure to my argument here. Find something that undermines it.

Find something that undermines the Trinitarian God of Christianity? Simple enough: the fact that there isn't a whit of evidence to verify his existence.

This doesn't really cut against the grain of Christian testimony. 1 Cor. 15:45 and Romans 5:12 refers to Jesus as the second Adam. Irenaeus, one of the most famous of the early church fathers coined the doctrine of recapitulation, which should give you some insight into the the Adam ---> Jesus relationship. It's quite interesting, I think.

Sorry, sggtomas told me a few weeks ago that he is taking another extended break from the forums in order to continue studies.

That's fine. Anyone is free to respond to my criticism.
