No, no joke.
"Obama would win against the Tea Party favorite, 52% to 44% among registered voters..."

I'm just depressed enough to believe that that's meaningful. But as a social scientist I'm sure you know it's not meaningful at this stage since its so early.

Why would President Palin be any worse than President Obama? Other than the fact that she's a Republican that is.

Hey! Why not elect Palin in 2012? Then you could have two progressive, landbreaking presidencies in 8 years: an African-American, and then a woman as president. I think that'd be awesome! And who knows? Maybe Palin's winning smile, and cougar-like presence will have the other leaders of the world falling over their feet to do what she says in the hopes that they might be the first to claim a top-secret rendevous with her. Could be beneficial to the U.S. getting back on its feet again.
AND we know from the book of Judges that when God wanted something done, he sent a woman in to do the job. E.G., Deborah: now there was a tough-ass woman.
This post has been a complete farce, and does not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the poster. Except for the fact that I'm really glad that a man of colour finally go the presidency, and that a woman may just do the same in 2012. Those two factors are pretty-cool, admittedly.

Whoever wins in 2012, I'd kind of like to see Hillary Clinton run again in 2016. (Yes, I know I'm supposed to be a Republican. . . )

No worries. The GOP has been moving (and sometimes sprinting) to the (extreme) right for 16 years. It's not you. Hell, Obama advocated for policies proposed and advocated by Republicans over the last 10 years and those same ideas were called "socialist".KR Wordgazer wrote:Whoever wins in 2012, I'd kind of like to see Hillary Clinton run again in 2016. they are such idiots! This old guy calling himself "the old Geezer" on my blog is ridiculing Obama and 'the change crowd." he represents old people stuff and elderly issues, he talks like he doesn't even know the tea party guys want to end social security. He's actually an elderly activist who is pro Tea party and he doesn't even know what they stand for.tinythinker wrote:No worries. I am starting a new blog. "Need more shovels." It's basically Tea Party watch but I didn't want to use that line becuase I don't want to limit it to just talking about how stupid they are.
