I have like $0.43 in a Wells Fargo account somewhere, but ugh. This stuff is evil. "Devour widows' houses"?

I get calls from Wells Fargo that are very crafty. They attempt to sign me up for an insurance program, then ask several confusing (and seemingly mild) questions in the hope that I will say Yes to something. For example, last week they asked me "Are you comfortable with this call being recorded to avoid clerical errors (mumble mumble) enrolled?" -- Uhh, yeah, I'm okay with the call being recorded. -- "Okay, so now that you're enrolled . . ." -- Wait, what? -- And then I have to get myself clearly and firmly dis-enrolled before I hang up, or else I will face a huge packet of fine print and two weeks to read it.

(They say I will have 60 days to read it, but they don't say when they will send it. I assume they will eat up some time so that I can't de-enroll fast enough. And if that happens, then obviously I'll have to pay them. That means a commitment. And more paperwork. etc.)

Yesterday a guy called claiming to be a a lawer, and he claimed that his people are calling me every day and I refuse to talk to them. He was made as hell and I told him he did not have permission to call me, he had a send a letter and he said "the right you have is to be poor."

I have never had any such confrontation with any of this "people." Never heard of him before.
