good but what's the point? In terms of the religious experience studies. The mystic doesn't know the name to call it or the words to say about it but knows the thing itself form experience.

I'm not bringing it up with reference to religious experience. It's relevant to the cosmology thread: to wit, it's not only acceptable, but commendable, to admit that you can't answer some questions.
I wanted to break it out into a separate thread because it's a question of our relationship to knowledge, not something specifically about cosmology.
