yeah, I got that from Terri - you knew her as "tlgregory" on CARM. People like her in the US seem to be speaking up more lately, trying to take back xianity, Jesus, and the Scriptures from the wacko-fundamentalistic right-wing down there.

Good thing too. All those people, with all that money and media access, parading around and talking up what "the Bible says" without a clue about it really says (or most of it ).... it's embarrassing for the rest of us, and we're always having to tell people, "No no, that isn't what xianity is at all !"

... and then they look at us funny, cuz they've heard so much weird stuff coming out of US media outlets...
