Sit back most likely, the issue for them is that if North Korea falls, they would have millions of refugees fleeing into their territory, creating a humanitarian crisis that they really don't need right now. So no, the Chinese generally hate North Korea but without them they lose a buffer state the the US and its allies as well as said crisis.
