at this point they are stalling again. I have not be able to find out what the consequences are. they say "cuts in everything" but I don't know that that means. If they just took back the Cola on disability for this year I could live with that (Cost of Living adjustment: aka "Cola").

that's what you cal the Un-cola! Oooooo sorry.

It's actually impressive how much the Party is screwing itself over. I think Obama's approval rating has gone up to 56% at this point. He may well break the Republican party for the short term.

I don't know why Bhoner pulled back. I guess he just has too much intrenched resistance in his party. Of course I have images of some utlra rich guy calling him and saying "the secret junta of ruling families says back out of the deal."

Boehner is leading congress into a double dip recession. Thanks a lot, you useless orange crybaby.
One of the hallmarks of freedom is that when you recognize someone is being intellectually dishonest or arguing with you in bad faith, you have the option to walk away without being punished, imprisoned or tortured.

I don't think it's his fault. I think it's the tea party nuts who wont accept any kind of taxes. Boehner tried to find a way out, although it is somewhat his fault becuase we wont take the one way out and just go for the taxes on those making 250 thous.
