at this point they are stalling again. I have not be able to find out what the consequences are. they say "cuts in everything" but I don't know that that means. If they just took back the Cola on disability for this year I could live with that (Cost of Living adjustment: aka "Cola").

It's actually impressive how much the Party is screwing itself over. I think Obama's approval rating has gone up to 56% at this point. He may well break the Republican party for the short term.

I don't know why Bhoner pulled back. I guess he just has too much intrenched resistance in his party. Of course I have images of some utlra rich guy calling him and saying "the secret junta of ruling families says back out of the deal."

I don't think it's his fault. I think it's the tea party nuts who wont accept any kind of taxes. Boehner tried to find a way out, although it is somewhat his fault becuase we wont take the one way out and just go for the taxes on those making 250 thous.

Looks like a deal will come after all......to be voted on tomorrow.
