after that stink bath in crap music I feel I need a shower in good music. Some of the best of the 60s. Note: the only reason I'm not including Judy Collins Amazing Grace is it was 70 or 71. I will not include the Dylan songs in link that i used before.
I can't say this is really "the best" but it's an example of what the list might look like, some of my favorites.

forgive my naive understanding of the people's republic but will they care if you play protest songs over there?

I love this kind of music. I grew up listening to it.
Have you ever heard Joan Baez' "Noel" album? Some of the most amazing Christmas music I've ever heard.

Yes! I have heard of all Joan Baez albums but especially the early ones, and I have most of them, but no turn tableKR Wordgazer wrote:I love this kind of music. I grew up listening to it.

I know the Noel album in partiuclar and I love it. I love that rendition of "I wunder as I wander."

I love most of her music. I don't know much about her stuff after 79. I love this kind of music too. I didn't give representation of the Byrds and I really love them a lot. Or CSY. There's a lot of music from the 60s I love that I didn't include.
