that's great helping people get out of the their commitments and destroy the one thing that gives hope in life. You have to hand to those guys, corrupting the leaders by finding the human weakness, at least satan is a hard worker. I guess next will be getting strangers to give candy to their children.

seriously, chruch people be on top of understanding the pressures but they tried to just want to passively receive instruction in stead of step in and bear the load.

Nothing wrong with helping someone get out of a toxic faith tradition, doesn't mean they have to become an atheist, but pretending, once one has lost their faith, isn't exactly a healthy way to continue.

but pretending once one has lost faith can provide a pension if your are an ordained person; which once you know God won't provide is necessary for those who enjoy being miserable and making others miserable.
