Looks like Boehner's out as speaker. I'm sure the new guy will be a paragon of reason, sanity and moderation.
One of the hallmarks of freedom is that when you recognize someone is being intellectually dishonest or arguing with you in bad faith, you have the option to walk away without being punished, imprisoned or tortured.

The winner of this affair seems to be Obama. He has pretty much broken the Republican party in the short run.

Actually, you know what, I know we all generally agree on this, but how about I put up an educational video by Michael Sandel dealing with income distribution and John Rawls on a new thread.

Awww, he managed to hang on by his fingernails. I was hoping they'd choose someone more colorful, like Donald Trump or a rabid dog.
