Now that CARM allows non-members to view their board, I decided to take a peek. Glad I did it before lunch.
I believe that CARMite clan could be the formation of a new cult, seriously. No thinking by the subhumans (female), and groom the males for eventual godhood. Spew hateful venom at all who dare to disagree. Turn the females into useful Stepford Wives who will serve the godmen and cannibalize their own kind.
And that's as kind as I can be to them.

I merely suggested that we modersate our temperments, so as not to allow anger to consume us.
Matt Slick and his fllowing may at times Ire us,, and cause rash reactions, but we soudl elt them go as soon as posisble, and attatck no strong emotion to it. Focus on their errors, not their personalities.
Anger can be understandable, if imediately caused, but no need o hold onto it.

KR Wordgazer wrote:I think there's a difference between focusing on personalities and focusing on the tone of a particular group. I didn't see 2thePoint say anything about the particular personalities of any people in that group. 2thePoint was talking about the general tendencies of CARM as a group, without focusing on individuals. I didn't see any difference between what she (I assume "she") said and what has been said by many people about the militant atheist boards. In fact, militants of any persuasion have certain characteristics in common, and it isn't hard to see CARM as being militant in general outlook.
As long as we're focusing on the forum itself, not on particular people, I don't see a problem.
