I was looking up old tv shows to see if I can remember when they were on.. I had memories of Dick Cavett on in senior year of high school but a statement on tv made me think it went off in 72. I was senior in 75, So that seems "a contradiction to reality."

In reading about the show I realized what I knew back then "this was a truly great show." It's so telling that it didn't last. While it was on it was the bench mark of greatness for the era.
