I found a list of shows on Wikipedia that were cancelled before airing one episode:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_te ... an_episode

One that stood out was called Snip, which was going to air in 1976 before being pulled at the last minute. It was inspired by the movie Shampoo from the year before, but it was supposed to be a watered-down version:

David Brenner and Lesley-Anne Warren were supposed to be the main stars in it.

that should have its own thread. But there was a live action show about the Justice leage. they have a video of the pilot on You Tube. It never made it.

the only episode of it left on net is no 9. So you can't see the first 8 parts. here's a review of it. I have seen three or them. the review is right, don't do this to yourself.

the reviewer seems not o have heard of JLA member ice, who was a real member in the 90s.

For animated TV shows, it was a series called Young Justices, just when it actually got good, they canceled it due to it "not selling enough toys."

Another one is Firefly, because FOX are a bunch of morons.

not a favorite but not bad was F troop. I twas only one one season in color, and only about 3 years overall. they were just hitting their stride.

Maverick went off too soon because Garner got tried and quite. I think Kelley and More could have kept it going. But they canceled it.It was 1958-60 or 61.

Did I mention Gilligan's Island. only on 3 years. btw the Professor died.

I know. Look what happened to Undeclared 12 years ago. Didn't even give it a chance.

Linda Cardellini was going to be in season 2 from what I heard.

Yea, Undeclared was OK. Not as good as Freaks and Geeks (the TV show Judd Apatow had a hand in producing before he produced Undeclared). That one is also on You-Tube.

I really don't watch modern shows. I really seek out the old re-runs. It's kind of embarrassing becuase I often start talking about 40 year old shows as though people have seen them the other day, because i have.

Really? So I can't recommend anything like Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones?

Aww.
